The general objective of our league is to inspire all youth, regardless of race, creed, or national origin, to practice the ideals of sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline, dedication, scholarship and physical fitness.  We facilitate the development of strength and character in every child that participates.

The specific objective of the league is to familiarize all participants with the fundamentals of football or cheerleading, to provide an opportunity to play the sport in a supervised, organized and safety oriented manner in a productive environment and to keep the welfare of participants free of any adult ambition or personal glory.

We are a non-profit county youth recreational league for children ages 3-15, in Brevard County Florida.  We are sustained by the efforts of volunteers who display an extraordinary amount of commitment and hard work, ensuring that our league is a positive influence in the lives of our children.  We also strive to provide a service to our community by providing a healthy outlet for children, opportunities for the community to gather together, and endless hours of entertainment.  Our league allows kids a place to come together and be a part of something special.  Studies show that an active kid is a healthy kid and that having meaningful, engaging activities are important to keeping kids safe and off the streets!

The Port St John Rockets are always looking for volunteers who want to make a difference in the life of a child.  Coaching, Team Support and Board Positions available.  Students can earn Bright Futures Scholarship hours.
